My name is Erik David Even, and I am a writer and copyeditor in Venice Beach, California. I have six years experience as a writer, editor and web journalist; and a previous six years in web design and graphic design.

I was most recently a copywriter and content manager for Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records in Santa Monica, California. Previously, I was a professional blogger for a number of firms and web sites, including a visual effects company, a legal news web site and an employment web site. For three years, I worked as a video games industry journalist, covering professional video gaming events from New York to Seoul. During this time, I managed an onsite staff of writers, as well as freelancers.

During the interregnum between my web design and writing careers, I taught high school Biology in South Central Los Angeles.

In my spare time, I am the creator of two JRR Tolkien fan sites: periannath.com and sauronsblog.com. I was also the creator of the popular humor site villainsupply.com.
